abstract: ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui pengaruh
pertumbuhan PDB, inflasi, dan FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) terhadap neraca
transaksi berjalan pada lima negara di ASEAN tahun 2010-2020. Data yang
digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data panel yaitu gabungan antara data
time series tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2020 dan cross section sebanyak lima negara
ASEAN. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan
Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Bank Indonesia. 

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; pertumbuhan PDB berpengaruh negatif
dan signifikan terhadap neraca transaksi berjalan pada lima negara di ASEAN.
Kedua, inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap neraca transaksi
berjalan. Ketiga, FDI berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap neraca
transaksi berjalan pada lima negara di ASEAN, dengan asumsi cateris paribus.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of GDP growth, inflation, and
FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) on the current account balance in five ASEAN
countries in 2010-2020. The data used in this study is panel data, which is a
combination of time series data from 2010 to 2020 and a cross section of five
ASEAN countries. This study uses secondary data sourced from the Central
Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia.

The results of this study indicate that; GDP growth has a negative and significant
effect on the current account balance in five ASEAN countries. Second, inflation
has a negative and significant effect on the current account balance. Third, FDI has
a positive but not significant effect on the current account balance in five ASEAN
countries, assuming cateris paribus.
