Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari performa pertumbuhan dan ke-langsungan hidup larva ikan gabus (Channa striata) yang diberi pakan Daphnia sp. yang diperkaya dengan glutamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujicobakan adalah pakan A (Daphnia sp. tanpa diperkaya glutamin ), perlakuan B (Daphnia sp. diperkaya glutamin 25 mg/l), perlakuan C (Daphnia sp. diperkaya glutamin 50 mg/l) dan perlakuan D (Daphnia sp. diperkaya glutamin 75 mg/l). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis sidik ragam (Anova). Parameter yang diamati berupa pertumbuhan bo-bot mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, kelangsung-an hidup dari larva ikan gabus, dan kualitas air suhu berkisar 28-29oC dan pH dengan kisaran 7,0-7,4. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan pengkayaan Daphnia sp. dengan bahan glutamin memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap pertumbuhan larva ikan gabus. Daphnia sp. with enriched glutamine is given as feed for the larvae of snakehead fish, because glutamine can increase the growth and activity of digestive enzymes. This study aimed to study the growth performance of the larvae of snakehead fish (Channa striata) fed Daphnia sp. enriched with glutamine. The study used a com-plete randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were consisted of A (Daphnia sp. without glutamine enrichment ), B (Daphnia sp. en-riched glutamine 25 mg/l), C (Daphnia sp. enriched glutamine 50 mg/l) and D (Daphnia sp. enriched glutamine 75 mg/l). The data obtained was analyzed with analysis of variance (Anova). The observed parameters were absolute weight growth, absolute long growth, specific growth rate, survival rate of snakehead fish larvae, and water quality temperatures ranging from 28-29oC and pH with a range of 7.0-7.4. The measurement results showed that the addition of Daphnia sp. with glutamine enrichment had effect on the growth performance of snakehead fish larvae.
