Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pre-experimental design dengan bentuk desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 siswa. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah uji T-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan aktivitas belajar siswa dan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada kelas sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning), sedangkan analisis data regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa sesudah diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning), terdapat perbedaan aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar Geografi siswa pada kelas XI IPS 1 dengan sebelum diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning), serta terdapat pengaruh sesudah diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa pada kelas XI IPS 1. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan lebih besarnya data aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa sesudah diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning). This study uses a pre-experimental design research in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 with a total of 27 students. Techniques in collecting data in this study using observation, tests, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study was the T-test to determine the differences in student learning activities and significant differences in student learning outcomes in the class before being given treatment and after being given treatment using a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning), while the data analysis was linear regression. simple method to determine the effect of the application of the project-based learning model (Project Based Learning). The results showed that students after being treated using a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning), there were differences in student learning activities and student learning outcomes in Geography of students in class XI IPS 1 with before being treated using a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning), and there is an effect after being treated using a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning) on student geography learning outcomes in class XI IPS 1. This is evidenced by the greater data on student learning activities and student learning outcomes after being treated using a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning).
