Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi faktor – faktor yang menjadi hambatan bagi proses perencanaan karier mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menentukan keragaman beberapa topik dalam sebuah populasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik (non probability) dengan voluntary sampling, dengan alat pengumpul data kuesioner hambatan karir dan wawancara pribadi. Responden Pada penelitian ini sebanyak 88 mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan koding dengan bantuan ATLAS.ti 9 For PC. hambatan yang terjadi sangat beragam yang terbagi menjadi delapan kelompok tema diantaranya dukungan jaringan, dukungan kampus, efikasi diri, keluarga, kurang informasi dunia kerja, kurang keterampilan, self understanding, teman.    Kata kunci : identifikasi, hambatan karier, perencanaan karier.     Satisfaction in pursuing a career can be achieved if individuals have sufficient career planning in determining a career field. This study aims to identify the factors that become obstacles in the student career planning process. This study uses a qualitative survey method that aims to determine the diversity of several topics in a population. The sampling technique in this study used a (non-probability) technique with a voluntary sample, with data collection tools, career barriers questionnaires and personal interviews. Respondents In this study as many as 88 students. Data analysis using coding with the help of ATLAS.ti 9 For PC. The obstacles that occur are very diverse which are divided into eight theme groups, including network support, campus support, self-efficacy, family, lack of information about the world of work, lack of skills, self-understanding, friends.
