abstract: Revolusi teknologi yang terjadi terus menerus dan berkembang pesat menyebabkan
media berkonvergensi dan terciptanya saluran media baru atau platform media yang
lebih beragam. Televise adalah salah satu media yang mengalami kemajuan dari
era siaran televisi analog kearah digital. Tegar TV merupakan salah satu televisi
lokal yang berada di Bandar lampung yang sedang menjalankan transisi dari siaran
televise analog ke digital. Yang menjadi masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah
bagaimana kesiapan Tegar TV Lampung menghadapi migrasi penyiaran dari
Analog ke Digital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat
deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer dan data sekunder.
Teknik Pengumpulan Data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan
dokumentasi hasil penelitian. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis untuk
mendapatkan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa dalam
menghadapi perkembangan teknologi dan mengikuti peraturan dari pemerintah
maka Tegar TV Lampung menyatakan kesiapan dalam menghadapi transisi TV
analog ke TV digital. Namun pada saat ini Tegar TV Lampung melakukan siaran
secara hybrid atau dua siaran, yaitu Peralihan siaran TV analog ke siaran TV digital
di Indonesia sedang berlangsung. Namun dalam proses tersebut, terdapat simulcast,
yaitu proses bersiaran TV Digital tanpa mengakhiri siaran TV analog.

The revolution of technology that occurs continuously and is growing rapidly
causes the media to converge and the creation of new media channels or more
diverse media platforms. Television is one of the media that has progressed from
the era of analog television broadcasting towards digital. Tegar TV is one of the
local television stations in Bandar Lampung which is currently transitioning from
analog to digital television broadcasts. The problem in this research is how Tegar
TV Lampung is ready to face the migration of broadcasting from Analog to Digital.
This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study in
the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were
carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation of research
results. After the data is collected then it is analyzed to get a conclusion. Based on
the results of the study, it was found that in facing technological developments and
following government regulations, Tegar TV Lampung stated its readiness to face
the transition of analog TV to digital TV. However, at this time Tegar TV Lampung
broadcasts in a hybrid or two broadcast, namely the transition from analog TV
broadcasts to digital TV broadcasts in Indonesia is underway. However, in this
process, there is simulcast, which is the process of broadcasting Digital TV without
ending analog TV broadcasts.
