The design of the research was true-experiment design in which there were two groups: the control and the experimental groups. The subjects were 26 students from the second-year students at MTS Ismaria Al-Quraniyyah. The data were collected through speaking tests and they were analyzed using the Independent group T-Test and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference of speaking achievement between the students taught through Cooperative podcast listening and those through original podcast procedures. That is, the Cooperative learning principle-based podcast procedure improves better students' speaking achievement than original podcast procedures with the significant level, 0.05. Every single aspect of speaking also significantly improved after the students were taught through Cooperative podcast listening. This indicates that the method facilitates students to improve their speaking achievement aspect that improves the most. Key Words: Cooperative Learning, podcast, speaking achievement.
