abstract: Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik SD Negeri di Desa Rejomulyo yang disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang mononton dan kurang variatifnya pendidik dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Salah
satu cara untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik adalah dengan memberikan reward dan ice breaking dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemberian reward dan ice breaking terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik SD Negeri di Desa Rejomulyo.Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode angket dan dokumentasi.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji t (independent sampel t-test). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan pemberian reward dan ice breaking terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik SD Negeri di Desa Rejomulyo.

The problem in this research is the low learning motivation of elementary school students in Rejomulyo Village which is caused by the monotonous learning process and the lack of variety of educators in managing learning. One way to increase students' learning motivation is to provide rewards and ice breaking in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of giving rewards and ice breaking on the learning motivation students of SD Negeri in Rejomulyo Village. The type of research in this study was a quasiexperimental. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire and documentation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is ttest analysis (independent sample t-test). The results of the calculation of the test show that there is a significant effect of giving rewards and ice breaking on the learning motivation students of SD Negeri in Rejomulyo Village.
