description:   This study aims to analyze the effect of local government financial performance on capital expenditure allocation. This study examines financial performance empirically by using regional financial performance variables as proxied by regional dependence, effectiveness, and efficiency. The samples used in this study are provinces throughout Indonesia that publish financial reports from 2014 to 2019. The type of data used is secondary data, and the data analysis used is descriptive, normality test, and hypothesis testing with SPSS 26.0 software.   The results showed that there was a positive influence on the level of dependence and the effectiveness ratio on capital expenditure of a region.  Keywords: Dependency Rate, Effectiveness Ratio, Efficiency Ratio  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan pemerintah daerah terdahap alokasi belanja modal. Penelitian ini mengkaji kinerja keuangan secara empiris dengan menggunakan variabel kinerja keuangan daerah yang diproksikan dengan ketergantungan daerah, efektivitas, dan efisiensi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah provinsi seluruh Indonesia yang menerbitkan laporan keuangan tahun 2014 sampai dengan tahun 2019. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan pengujian hipotesis dengan software SPSS 26.0.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif tingkat ketergantungan dan rasio efektivitas terhadap belanja modal suatu daerah.
