Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah murid, guru, dan karyawan, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui tiga tahapan berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses pembelajaran piano klasik tingkat dasar di Ecayo Yamaha Music School Bandar Lampung menggunakan metode solfegio dengan tahapan-tahapan sebagai berikut : (ear training/hearing), (sight singing), (sight reading), (imitation). Pada kesimpulan nya bagi murid Ecayo Music School Bandar Lampung proses pembelajaran piano klasik untuk siswa tingkat dasar khususnya pada kelas junior music course menggunakan metode solfegio dalam proses pembelajarannya. Dengan menggunakan metode tersebut murid dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam proses belajar dan berkreasi dalam bermain piano, serta prestasi dalam perlombaan piano. Kata kunci : Piano Klasik, Pembelajaran, Ecayo Yamaha Music School This study aims to describe the basic level of classical piano learning at Ecayo Yamaha Music School Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the data sources of this study are students, teachers, and employees, using data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the basic level classical piano learning process at Ecayo Yamaha Music School Bandar Lampung used the solfegio method with the following stages: (ear training/hearing), (sight singing), (sight reading), (imitation). In conclusion, for students at Ecayo Music School Bandar Lampung, the classical piano learning process for elementary level students, especially in the junior class music course, uses the Solfegio method in the learning process. By using this method students can improve their skills in the learning process and be creative in playing the piano, as well as achievements in piano competitions.
