abstract: Hutan mangrove merupakan ekosistem yang memiliki peranan penting di pesisir
pantai dari aspek ekologis, ekonomi, dan sosial budaya. Salah satu tujuan dari
ekowisata hutan mangrove adalah untuk menjaga kelestarian hutan mangrove.
Ekowisata merupakan bentuk upaya konservasi dari hutan mangrove yang dapat
dikemas dalam bentuk lokasi wisata. Untuk mengetahui hal tersebut perlu dilakukan
penelitian mengenai potensi dan fungsi penggunaan lahan di ekowisata hutan
mangrove. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua lokasi sehingga dapat dibandingkan
potensi dan fungsi penggunaan lahan di masing-masing lokasi, sehingga dapat
diberikan masukan kepada pengelola hutan mangrove. Penelitian dilakukan pada
bulan Juni-Agustus tahun 2021. Lokasi penelitin di Desa Sri Minosari dan Desa
Purworejo Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan
wawancara. Sedangkan data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari
penelitian ini yaitu obyek wisata hutan mangrove Desa Purworejo dan Desa Sri
Minosari menunjukkan potensi internal dan potensi eksternal yang dimiliki berada
pada kategori sedang. Analisis fungsi penggunaan lahan Desa Purworejo dan Desa
Sri Minosari menunjukan daya dukung fungsi lindung penggunaan lahan berada
dalam kondisi rusak. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurangnya keseimbangan
penggunaan lahan untuk perlindungan dan alih fungsi lahan menjadi tambak dan
pemukiman.

The mangrove forest is an ecosystem that has an important role on the coast from the
ecological, economic, and socio-cultural aspects. One of the goals of mangrove
forest ecotourism is to preserve the mangrove forest. Ecotourism is a form of
conservation effort from mangrove forests that can be packaged in the form of tourist
sites. From that background, it is necessary to research the potential and function of
land use in mangrove forest ecotourism. This research was conducted in two
locations so that the potential and function of land use in each site can be compared
so that that input can be given to mangrove forest managers. The research was
conducted from June-August 2021. The research locations were in Sri Minosari
Village and Purworejo Village, East Lampung Regency. The method used is
observation and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The
result of this research is that the mangrove forest tourism object in Purworejo Village
and Sri Minosari Village shows the internal and external potential in the medium
category. The analysis of land use functions in Purworejo Village and Sri Minosari
Village shows that the carrying capacity of the land use protection function is in a
damaged condition. It is due to the lack of balance in land use for protection and
conversion of land into ponds and settlements.
