Disamping itu ,dalam pemeliharaanya membutuhkan waktu yang relatif singkat dibandingkan sapi lainnya namun membutuhkan pakan yang lebih banyak. Keberadaan dari tanaman jagung,batang singkong dan pelepah sawit diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dari masalah kekurangan pakan ternak khususnya pada musim kemarau.  Proses dilakukan dengan 3 bahan uji yang berbeda, yaitu tebon jagung,batang singkong dan batang singkong. Hasil pengujian dari 3 bahan uji ini membuahkan hasil yang sama, tetapi hasil cacah pada daun tidak sempurna tercacah dikarenakan daun tipis dan teksturnya tidak keras, sehingga daun tidak ikut tercacah dengan sempurna. Proses pencacahan memakan waktu kurang lebih 5 detik pada tebon jagung berukuran 1 meter.bagian utama mesin pencacah ini yaitu motor bakar, pulley dan v- belt, poros, dudukan pisau, dan pisau. Mesin ini menggunakan pisau dengan material HSS (High Speed Steel), sehingga mampu mencacah bahan yang keras seperti batang singkong dan batang sawit. Material ini juga mampu menahan panas sehingga mesin pencacah ini mampu beroperasi dalam kurun waktu yang lama.    Kata kunci :Diamon limosin, mesin pencacah dan High Speed Steel                abstract    Most of the people in Rejosari Village, Natar District, South Lampung Regency, raise a lot of livestock such as goats, buffalo and one of the most common cattle, namely ordinary cattle and injection cows (Diamon Limousind). compared to other cattle but require more feed. The existence of corn, cassava stems and palm midribs is expected to be a solution to the problem of lack of animal feed, especially during the dry season.  The process was carried out with 3 different test materials, namely corn stalks, cassava stems and cassava stems. The test results of these 3 test materials yielded the same results, but the chopping results on the leaves were not perfectlychopped because the leaves were thin and the texture was not hard, so the leaves were not chopped perfectly. The chopping process takes approximately 5 seconds on a 1 meter sized corn husk. The main parts of this chopping machine are the combustion engine, pulley and v-belt, shaft, knife holder, and knife. This machine uses a knife with HSS (High Speed Steel) material, so it is able to chop hard materials such as cassava stems and palm trunks. This material is also able to withstand heat so that this chopper is able to operate for a long time.    Keywords : Diamond limousine, chopper machine and High Speed Steel
