abstract: Pada rancangan percobaan juga sering mengalami masalah data hilang, begitu juga dalam rancangan bujur sangkar latin. Dalam situasi data yang hilang ini analisis ragam tidak dapat dilakukan terhadap suatu unit percobaan sehingga untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut  data yang hilang harus diduga terlebih dahulu. Selain itu dalam suatu percobaan, sering dijumpai adanya pengaruh variabel-variabel lain di luar penelitian yaitu variabel konkomitan yang muncul dalam suatu percobaan akan mempengaruhi tingkat ketelitian hasil percobaan. untuk itu diperlukan analisis kovarian untuk meningkatkan ketepatan analisis dalam suatu percobaan.  Tujuan penelitian adalah menduga nilai data hilang yang dibagi dalam dua kasus yaitu kasus satu data hilang dan dua data hilang pada RBSL 4x4, menganalisis hasil dari nilai duga dan membandingkan kedua kasus data hilang, menganalisis MAPE untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat kesalahan pendugaan serta mengukur ketepatan analisis antara analisis varian dan analisis kovarian

ABSTRACT

In the experimental design, data is often missing, as well as in the Latin Square Design. In this situation of missing data, analysis of variance cannot be carried out on an experimental unit, so to overcome this problem the missing data must be estimated first. In addition, in an experiment, it is often found that there is the influence of other variables outside the study, namely concomitant variables that appear in an experiment that will affect the level of accuracy of the experimental results. For this reason, covariance analysis is needed to increase the accuracy of the analysis in an experiment. The purpose of the study was to estimate the value of missing data which was divided into two cases, namely the case of one missing data and two missing data on the 4x4 RBSL, analyzing the results of the estimated value and comparing the two cases of missing data, analyzing MAPE to find out how big the level of estimation error was and measuring the accuracy of the analysis between analysis of variance and analysis of covariance
