Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 Talang Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendeskripsikan masalah yang sedang diteliti secara lengkap dan dideskripsikan berdasarkan fakta dan data yang telah diperoleh. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 1 Talang Padang dengan jumlah sample 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan kuesioner/angket, observasi dan wawancara. Kuesioner dalam penelitian ini terdapat 26 butir pernyataan melalui teknik analisis data perhitungan mean (M) dan presentase (%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan presentase sebanyak 59% untuk kategori sangat baik 19 responden, 38% untuk kategori baik dengan 12 responden, dan 3% kategori rendah dengan 1 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni budaya di SMAN 1 Talang Padang disimpulkan sangat baik dengan hasil nilai presentase 81,70%.

STUDENT'S PERCEPTION OF ART CULTURE LEARNING AT SMAN 1 TALANG PADANG

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of cultural arts learning at SMAN 1 Talang Padang. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods to describe the problem that is being studied in full and based on the facts and data that have been obtained. This study's data sources were teachers and students of class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Talang Padang with a sample of 32 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The questionnaire in this study contained 26 statements through the data analysis technique by calculating the mean (M) and percentage (%). The study results based on the very good category obtained a percentage of 59% with 19 respondents, 38% for the good category with 12 respondents, and 3% in the low category with 1 respondent. Based on the study's results, students' perceptions of learning arts and culture at SMAN 1 Talang Padang can be concluded very well with the result of a percentage value of 59%.
