Latar belakang
:
Kanker merupakan
proses proliferasi sel
-
sel didalam tubuh yang tidak
terkendali.
Kanker hati meru
pakan masalah kesehatan global, di negara berkembang
termasuk Indonesia.
696.000 penderita kanker hati meninggal setiap tahun.
Annona
Muricata L
adalah salah satu bahan alami
y
ang memiliki kandungan antioksidan dan
antikanker
pada bagian daunnya
.
Metode:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun sirsak (
Annona muricata L.
)
terhadap ka
dar a
sam sialat
tikus
yang diinduksi DMBA. Desain penelitian ini
adalah eksperimental dengan 4
kelompok perlakuan, masing
-
masing kelompok
terdiri dari 5 ekor tikus
Sprague Dawley.
Kelompok
1(

) (kontrol negatif) diberikan aquadest 1 ml/hari; kelompok 2(+)
(kontrol
positif)
diberikan DMBA 2x20
mg/kgBB/
minggu
dan aquades
t 1ml/hari
; kelompok P1
(perlakuan 1)
diberikan DMBA 2x20 mg/kgBB/
minggu + ekst
rak daun sirsak 20
mg/kgBB/hari
dan kelompok P2
(perlakuan 2)
diberikan DMBA 2x20 mg/kgBB/
minggu +
ekstrak daun sirsak 40 mg/kgBB/hari.
Pemeriksaan asam sialat ini menggunakan Metode
Warren.
Hasil penelitian:
Secara Statistik
terdapat perbedaan b
ermakna pada uji One
-
way
ANOVA (p<0,05)
dan uji Post
Hoc LSD
(p<0,05).
Hasil uji
tersebut
memperlihatkan
bahwa
ekstrak
daun sirsak
dapat
menurunkan kadar asam sialat pada jaringan hati tikus
yang diinduksi DMBA.

sialic acid levels

DMBA

reduce levels of sialic acid on rat liver tissue

induced by DMBA.
