%T PENGGUNAAN LAYANAN INFORMASI KARIR TEKNIK DISKUSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERENCANAAN KARIR PADA SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 4 GADINGREJO


%X Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang karir yang dialami oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan layanan informasi karir teknik diskusi terhadap perencanaan karir pada siswa kelas IX-B SMP N 4 Gadingrejo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment dan desain yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IX SM Negeri 4 Gadingrejo yang berjumlah 112 dengan jumlah sampel 25, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (17.645 > 2,069) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan layanan informasi karir teknik diskusi dapat meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa kelas IX-B SMP N 4 Gadingrejo. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai informasi bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam upaya meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa melalui layanan bimbingan karir dengan teknik diskusi.

The problem in this research is the lack of understanding of the career experienced by students. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of career information services discussion techniques to improve the career planning of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Gadingrejo. Quasi-experimental design was used in this quantitative research, using one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this study was 112 students from Ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Gadingrejo, the researcher's sample was 25 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results obtained showed that the t-value was higher than the t-table (17.645 > 2.069) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that using the career information services discussion technique can improve the career planning of ninth-grade student B at SMP N 4 Gadingrejo. The results of this study can be used as information for guidance and counseling teachers to improve students' career planning through career guidance services with discussion techniques.
