        abstract = {This research aims to obtain study the Geographical overview of tourists visiting
the Pahawang Besar Island Tourism Object in Pahawang Village, Marga Punduh
District, Pesawaran Regency. The research on this paper are attractiveness,
accessibility and facilities. This research uses a descriptive method. The
population in this research were tourists who visited the Pahawang Besar Island
Tourism Object. The method of determining the sample in this research was
accidental sampling of 30 tourists. The data collection technique was done by
means of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentations. The data
analysis technique used percentage analysis.
The results of the research showed that: (1) The location of Pahawang Besar
Island which is at an Astronomical location (5o 40' 2" -5

o 43' 2" South Latitude

and 105o

12' 2"-105o

15' 2" East Longitude). (2) Tourists say that the natural
beauty and Beaches on Pahawang Besar Island are quite beautiful and spoil the
eyes. (3) Tourists says that the facilities of the Pahawang Besar Island Tourism
Object are complete but not maintained.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Tinjauan Geografis wisatawan yang
berkunjung ke Objek Wisata Pulau Pahawang Besar di Desa Pahawang
Kecamatan Marga Punduh Kabupaten Pesawaran. Kajian dalam tulisan ini adalah
daya tarik, aksesibilitas dan fasilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke
Objek Wisata Pulau Pahawang Besar. Metode penentuan sampel dalam penelitian
ini adalah accidental sampling sebanyak 30 wisatawan. Teknik pengumpulan data
dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik
analisis data menggunakan analisis persentase.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Lokasi Pulau Pahawang Besar yang

BT). (2) Wisatawan mengatakan bahwa keindahan alam dan pantai yang berada di
Pulau Pahawang Besar cukup indah dan memanjakan mata. (3) Wisatawan
mengatakan bahwa fasilitas Objek Wisata Pulau Pahawang Besar lengkap tetapi
tidak terawat.
