"This study aimed at finding out whether; (1) there is significance different in\r\nstudents’ reading comprehension achievement after being taught through Fan-N-\r\nPick and SQ3R; (2) the difference in reading comprehension achievements between\r\nextrovert and introvert students; and (3) interaction between reading technique and\r\npersonality traits. The population of this research was the tenth-grade students of\r\nSMA Muhammadiyah Gadingrejo, academic year of 2021/2022. The research was\r\nconducted to 21 students in first experimental class and 21 students in second\r\nexperimental class. The2x2 factorial design research was conducted based on the\r\nproblems faced by researcher identified through results of the pre-observation. To\r\ncollect the data, the researcher administered personality trait questionnaire, teaching\r\nreading, and reading comprehension tests. Then, the data were analyzed\r\nquantitatively.\r\nThe SPSS version 16 was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that;\r\n(1) there is significant difference in students’ reading comprehension achievement\r\nafter being taught through Fan-N-Pick and SQ3R. The result revealed that\r\nsignificance level is less than 0.05 (0.001<0.05). Referring to the criteria Ha1 was\r\naccepted; (2) there is no difference between extrovert and introvert students in\r\nreading comprehension achievements. The result also showed that the significance\r\nlevel is greater than 0.05 (0.746>0.05); (3) there is an interaction between reading\r\ntechniques and personality traits. The result showed that Fobservedis higher than Ftable\r\n(12.50>3.34).
