N2  - This study aims to analyze the condition of the level of corruption in a country's
Foreign Direct Investment, trade balance, employment, and initial growth and
their effect on ASEAN economic growth. The data used is panel data consisting
of time series data for 2010 ? 2019 and a cross-section of ten ASEAN countries.
The variables used are economic growth, Corruption Perception Index, trade
balance, Foreign Direct Investment and initial growth. The analytical tool used is
panel data regression, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show
that the Corruption Perception Index, Foreign Direct Investment, trade balance,
employment, and initial growth have a positive and significant impact on the
economic growth of five ASEAN countries in 2009-2018. A positive sign on
positive initial growth indicates that the economy of poor countries is growing
faster than developed countries.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi tingkat korupsi suatu negara
Foreign Direct Investment, neraca perdagangan, tenaga kerja, dan initial growth
dan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi ASEAN. Data yang digunakan
merupakan data panel yang terdiri dari data time series tahun 2010 ? 2019 dan
cross-section sepuluh negara ASEAN. Variabel yang digunakan adalah
pertumbuhan ekonomi, Indeks Persepsi Korupsi, neraca perdagangan, Foreign
Direct Investment dan initial growth. Alat anaalisis yang digunakan adalah regresi
data panel yaitu Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
Indeks Persepsi Korupsi, Foreign Direct Investment, neraca perdagngan, tenaga
kerja, dan initial growth berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan
ekonomi lima negara ASEAN pada tahun 2009-2018. Tanda positif pada initial
growth positif yang menujukkan bahwa perekonomian negara miskin tumbuh
lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan negara maju.
