Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan desain Borg dan Gall. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 14 siswa kelas X IPA SMA N 1 Way Lima. Pengambilan data menggunakan catatan guru, observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes efektifitas melalui pretest dan postest. Data dianalisis menggunakan N-gain. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) potensi dan kondisi di SMA Negeri 1 Way Lima mendukung dan memungkinkan untuk dilakukan pengembangan sumber belajar E Learning berbasis blog; 2) produk yang dihasilkan divalidasi dan memenuhi validitas tinggi; 3) karakteristik sumber belajar digunakan secara online, semua bahan dan sumber belajar telah disusun sistematis sesuai indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan Animalia, video, dan animasi, serta berbasis blog; 4) sumber belajar E-learning ini efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa pada konsep animalia Kata Kunci : Sumber Belajar, Blog, Biolog, Animalia abstract The aims of this study are: 1) to analyze the potential and conditions for developing blog-based e-learning learning resources on the Animalia concept; 2) analyze the development process that produces blog-based e-learning learning resource products on the Animalia concept; 3) Describe the characteristics of the product development of blog-based e-learning learning resources on the Animalia concept; 4) analyze the effectiveness of blog-based e-learning learning resources on the Animalia concept.
