description: West Banko Pit 1 is located at Muara Enim Formation. The Muara Enim Formation consists of four stratigraphic unit. Coal seams in the West Banko was found in M2 unit. Core analysis to describe the results of drilling. Logging analysis is expected to set up of sedimentary rocks and coal layers. Besides it, log analysis and stratigraphic correlation of the coal thickness can be determine, and the direction laterally spreading of coal, and to know the environment of coal deposition.  The results indicate variation the lithology within the research areas, such as the unit of coal, sandstone, claystone, siltstone, and carbonaceous claystone. The Coal thickness ranging from 3 m to 13 m. From 2D correlation is known that the West Banko Pit 1 is controlled by normal fault structures. According the pattern of log deflection is known that the environment of deposition is the Upper Delta Plain-Fluvial study area. Coal reserves an area 1 acquired by 7 million cubic meters and coal reserves in area 2 acquired by 5 million cubic meters by stripping ratio is 1:2.
