N2  - This research was aimed to find out whether there is significant improvement of students? writing ability before and after being taught through Suggestopedia Method. By using a quantitative approach supported by a one group pretest and post-test design this research was carried out. The researcher chose second grade students at SMP 38 Bandar Lampung as a sample, which the number of students reached 22 in total. The data were collected from the results of the students' pre-test and post-test in written form containing the procedure text. The results show that there was an increase in students' writing ability after being taught with the help of a suggestopedia method. It can be proven by the results of data analysis showed that sig. (2-tails) 0.000 <0.05, in which the mean of both tests was analyzed using the Repeated Measure T-test with a significance level of 0.05. It can be also supported by the evidence that verifies the statements was the t-value which showed higher number than t-table by having the result 13.378 > 2.0. This research shows that Suggestopedia is a learning method which was successful for grade 2 junior high school students and content was the aspect of writing that had the most significant increase.
