TY - GEN CY - UNIVERSITAS LAMPUNG ID - eprints70061 UR - http://digilib.unila.ac.id/70061/ A1 - Yessi , Victoria Y1 - 2023/02/02/ N2 - The objective of this research was to investigate if there was any improvement of students? writing ability after the implementation of a short animated story in the first grade of SMAN 1 Natar. The sample of this research was X1, which consisted of 21 students. The data were obtained through a pre-test and post-test and the results were analyzed by using Paired Sample T-Test. The finding of Paired Sample T-Test revealed that there was a significant improvement in students writing narrative text after the implementation of a short animated story. The results of the research showed that the average post-test score(66.07) was higher than the pre-test (55.36), it increased by 10.7. It means there was a significant improvement in students? writing ability in narrative text. From the result, It could be concluded that using short animated stories is effective for teaching writing narrative text. Keywords: Animated Story, Writing, Improvement.
