After the formation of this PPID, it turns out that in reality there are still problems such as the difficulty of accessing information about elections and the E-PPPID has not functioned optimally for information disclosure. This study aims to determine the role of PPID KPU Bandar Lampung City in increasing information disclosure. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses the theory of Yeti (2014) by analyzing using indicators of the availability of facilities and infrastructure, budget availability, partnerships and community participation. The results of this study are the availability of facilities and infrastructure is not optimal because the facilities and infrastructure are not yet qualified and the E-PPID is not operating properly, the availability of the budget is not optimal because the unavailability of the budget for PPID KPU Bandar Lampung makes the functions in optimizing PPID not running properly well, the partnership has not been optimal because the Bandar Lampung City KPU PPID has not entered into partnerships with other institutions or organizations to remain independent and neutral in order to maintain public trust and community participation has not been optimal because the community has not been involved in formulating policies as stipulated in Law no.  25 of 2009.    Keywords: PPID, Improvement, optimization.     ABSTRAK    Pejabat Pelayanan Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID) sebagai salah satu aktor penting dalam terwujudnya keterbukaan informasi publik. Setelah dibentuknya PPID ini, ternyata pada kenyataannya masih terdapat permasalahan seperti sulitnya mengakses informasi tentang kepemiluan dan E-PPPID belum berfungsi maksimal untuk keterbukaan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran PPID KPU Kota Bandar Lampung dalam meningkatkan keterbukaan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Yeti (2014) dengan menganalisis menggunakan indikator ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, ketersediaan anggaran, kemitraan  dan  partisipasi  masyarakat.  Hasil  penelitian  ini  adalah ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana belum optimal karena sarana dan prasarananya belum mumpuni dan E-PPID tidak beroperasi dengan sebagaimana mestinya, ketersediaan anggaran belum optimal karena tidak tersedianya anggaran untuk PPID KPU Kota Bandar Lampung membuat fungsi-fungsi dalam pengoptimalan PPID tidak berjalan dengan baik, kemitraan belum optimal karena PPID KPU Kota Bandar Lampung tidak melakukan hubungan kemitraan dengan lembaga atau organisasi lain untuk tetap independen dan netral guna menjaga kepercayaan publik dan partisipasi masyarakat belum optimal karena masyarakat belum dilibatkan dalam penyusunan kebijakan seperti yang tertuang dalam UU No. 25 Tahun 2009.
