Konflik Mali pada tahun 2012  merupakan salah satu konflik yang menyebabkan dampak serius. Salah satu  dampak ini adalah pelanggaran HAM, diantaranya penyerangan terhadap warga  sipil, kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak-anak lainnya. Kondisi ini kemudian  mendorong Dewan Keamanan PBB untuk membentuk satuan tugas perdamaian  yang dinamakan dengan MINUSMA.  Perumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran PBB melalui  MINUSMA dalam isu pelanggaran HAM di wilayah Mali Tahun 2017-2020,  sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peran PBB melalui  MINUSMA dalam isu pelanggaran HAM di wilayah Mali 2017-2020. Penelitian  ini menggunakan Teori Peran Organisasi Internasional, dan Konsep  Peacekeeping Operations, sedangkan metode penelitiannya menggunakan metode  deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data sekunder melalui buku, surat  kabar, jurnal ilmiah dan laman websites.  Sebagian besar peran PBB yang memiliki peranan penting dalam isu  pelanggaran di mali yakni peran Instrumen dan Arena, dikarenakan PBB menjadi  forum untuk bernegosiasi hingga menetapkan resolusi untuk keberlangsungan misi  dari UNPKO, serta para anggota Dewan Keamanan menggunakan organisasi untuk  mengakomodasi kepentingan negara. Meskipun dalam satu misi mengenai  penegakkan HAM belum maksimal dikarenakan masi terjadi dikarenakan kelompok  bersenjata masi melakukan gencatan senjata dan menimbulkan korban jiwa.  Kata Kunci: HAM, Mali, MINUSMA, PBB    The dynamics of international security cannot be separated from conflicts, both  conflicts between states or civil wars. The Malian conflict in 2012 was one of the  conflicts that caused serious repercussions. One of these impacts is human rights  violations, including attacks on civilians, violence against women and other  children. This condition then prompted the UN Security Council to form a peace  task force called MINUSMA. The formulation of this research problem is how the  role of the UN through MINUSMA in the issue of human rights violations in the  Mali region in 2017-2020, while the purpose of this study is to describe the role of  the UN through MINUSMA in the issue of human rights violations in the Mali  region 2017-2020. This research uses the Role Theory of International  Organizations, and the Concept of Peacekeeping Operations, while the research  method uses qualitative descriptive methods with secondary data collection  techniques through books, newspapers, scientific journals and websites. Most of the  UN's roles that have an important role in the issue of human rights violations are  the Instruments and Arenas, as the UN is a forum for negotiating and establishing  resolutions for the continuity of UNPKO's mission, and Security Council members  use the organization to accomodated state interests. Although in one mission  regarding the enforcement of human rights has not been optimal because it still  occurs because armed groups still make ceasefires and cause casualties.
