N2  - Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada hubungan kekuatan otot bahu dan kekuatan otot lengan dengan kecepatan pukulan  jab pada cabang olahraga tinju. 
Metode yang digunakan padaa penelitian ini adalah kolerasional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 atlet Figther Baturaja. Pengambilan sampel mmenggunakan teknik total sampling. Untuk Teknik pengambilan data tes kekuatan otot bahu menggunakan push and pull dyanamometer, sedangkan pengambilan data tes kekuatan otot lengan menggunakan hand grip dynamometer dan teknik pengambilan data kecepatan pukulan jab menggunakan 30 detik memukul jab. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji hipotesis kemudian diuji dengan teknik analisis kolerasi person product moment dan diuji signifikan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ada hubungan kekuatan otot bahu dengan kecepatan pukulan ini dibuktikan dengan nilai r hitung 0,733 > r tabel 0,468, (2) ada hubungan kekuatan otot lengan dengan kecepatan pukulan ini dibuktikan dengan nilai r hitung 0,672 > r tabel 0,468, (3) ada hubungan kekuatan otot bahu dan kekuatan otot lengan dengan kecepatan pukulan ini dibuktikan dengan nilai f hitung 12,204 > f tabel 3,592 .

The purpose of this study was to determine there is relationship between shoulder muscle strength and arm muscle strength with the speed of the jab in boxing. 
The method used in this research is correlational. The samples used were 20 athletes of Figther Baturaja. Sampling using total sampling technique. For the data collection technique, the shoulder muscle strength test uses a push and pull dyanamometer, while the data collection for the arm muscle strength test uses a hand grip dynamometer and the jab speed data collection technique uses 30 seconds of hitting the jab. Data analysis technique using normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing then tested with person product moment correlation analysis technique and tested significant.
The results showed (1) there was a relationship between shoulder muscle strength and stroke speed with r count 0.733 > r table 0.468, (2) there was a relationship between arm muscle strength and stroke speed with r count 0.672 > r table 0.468, (3) there was a relationship between shoulder muscle strength and arm muscle strength with speed f count 12,204 > f table 3,592 .
