Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survei kepada peternak sapi potong dan diambil konsumsi pakan sapi potong untuk mengetahui kecukupan nutrisinya, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan pakan sebagian besar berupa konsentrat dan limbah pertanian. Rata-rata konsumsi bahan kering 8,91 kg/ekor/hari, rata-rata kebutuhan bahan keringnya 9,67 kg/ekor/hari dengan selisihnya yaitu -0,75 kg bahan kering, rata-rata konsumsi protein kasar sebesar 1,25 kg protein kasar/ekor/hari, rata-rata kebutuhannya 1,17 kg protein kasar/ekor/hari dengan selisih 0,08 kg protein kasar, serta diperoleh konversi ransumnya sebesar 12,77 dengan rata-rata pertambahan bobot tubuh 0,70 kg. Pakan yang digunakan berupa konsentrat dan limbah pertanian (kulit singkong, kulit nanas, dan onggok). The method used in this study was to use a qualitative approach with a survey method to beef cattle farmers and feed Consumption of beef cows were taken to determine the nutritional adequacy, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the feed ingredients were mostly concentrates and agricultural waste. The average dry matter consumption was 8.91 kg of dry matter/head/day, while the average dry matter requirement was 9.67 kg of dry matter/head/day with a difference of -0.75 kg of dry matter, average crude protein consumption was 1.25 kg crude protein/head/day, average requirement was 1.17 kg crude protein/head/day with a difference of 0.08 kg of crude protein, and obtained a ration conversion of 12.77 with a average body weight gain of 0.70 kg. The feed used was concentrate and agricultural waste (cassava peel, pineapple peel, and onggok).
