%X Telah direalisasikan sebuah alat pengukur indeks bias minyak goreng dengan menerapkan hukum Snellius dengan tampilan pada komputer. Alat tersebut terdiri dari sensor LDR, mikrokontroler ATMega 8535 dan komputer. Proses kerja alat yaitu cahaya laser akan menembus sampel dan sensor LDR akan menerima berkas cahaya paling terang dari sinar laser yang telah dibiaskan oleh cairan. Ketika sensor LDR terkena cahaya, maka sensor LDR akan memproses tegangan dan mikrokontroler akan membaca keluaran yang dihasilkan oleh sensor LDR tersebut dan kemudian langsung ditampilkan pada komputer. Keluaran dari LDR ini akan dikonversikan menggunankan program sebagai nilai indeks bias cairan. Hasil dari perubahan nilai indeks bias terhadap setiap sampel berbeda-beda dimana pada setiap sampel memiliki perubahan nilai indeks bias yang berbeda pula. Oleh karena itu, alat ini baik digunakan untuk menampilkan nilai indeks bias untuk semua jenis minyak goreng yang mampu dilewati cahaya tampak (transparan).  Kata kunci : Indeks Bias, Sensor LDR, Mikrokontroler ATMega8535  (It has been realfed the refraction index instrument to measuring the refraction index of fried coconut oil. The part of this tools are : LDR, sensor ATMega 8535 and computer. The work process of this tool is the laser shine will perforate of the sample and LDR sensor will reseive the lightest shine from laser shine which have deviate by liquid. When LDR sensor perforate the shine so the LDR sensor will process the tension and microcontroler will read the result of LDR sensor. And than continue the perform on the computer. The result of LDR will be conversion by using the program as avalueof liquid refraction index. The result of change the value of refraction index to every samples are different. On every sample have the different value refraction index too. So this tool is good for perform the value refraction index of every kind fried oil which able to perforate the real shine.
