POTENTIAL IN MUTUN BEACH TOURISM OBJECTS IN
PESAWARAN REGENCY

This study aimed to analyze the level of visitor satisfaction at Mutun Beach, tourist
attributes that need to be improved and maintained by Mutun Beach, and find out
the driving and inhibiting factors development of Mutun Beach. The method used
in this research was survey method. The samples in this study were 4 Mutun
employees and 77 visitors, which were taken using the purposive sampling and the
accidental sampling methods. Furthermore, data collection was carried out from
January to February 2023. The data analysis methods used were Customer
Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and descriptive
analysis. The results of this study show that the level of visitor satisfaction is in the
"Satisfied" category with a CSI value of 74.77\%. Moreover, based on the IPA
method, tourism attributes that need to be improved are the condition of game
facilities such as banana boats, rubber boats and waterbooms, the safety of
waterboom, and the condition of toilet and prayer rooms facilities. Then, tourism
attributes that need to be maintained are the attractiveness of the beach,
cleanliness, comfortable atmosphere, calm sea water, various and condition of
infrastructure and games facilities, and good service. Factors that are driving the
development of Mutun Beach are high tourist attractiveness, easy accessibility,
complete facilities, good service and management, and government?s role. The
inhibiting factors are limited promotion, competitors, and limited funds and human
resources.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pengunjung, atribut
wisata yang perlu ditingkatkan dan dipertahankan oleh objek wisata Pantai Mutun,
dan mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat pengembangan Pantai Mutun.
Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Sampel
penelitian adalah 4 pengelola dan 77 pengunjung Pantai Mutun, yang ditentukan
dengan metode purposive sampling dan accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data
dilakukan dari Januari hingga Februari 2023. Metode analisis data yang digunakan
adalah Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis
(IPA), dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat
kepuasan pengunjung Pantai Mutun berada pada kategori ?Puas? dengan nilai CSI
74,77\%. Berdasarkan metode IPA, atribut wisata yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah
kondisi fasilitas permainan banana boat, perahu karet, dan waterboom, keamanan
fasilitas waterboom, serta kondisi sarana prasarana toilet dan Mushola. Atribut
wisata yang perlu dipertahankan kinerjanya adalah keindahan alam, keasrian pantai,
kebersihan, suasana yang nyaman, air laut yang tenang, keragaman dan kondisi
fasilitas permainan juga sarana prasarana, serta pelayanan. Faktor pendorong
pengembangan objek wisata yaitu daya tarik wisata tinggi, aksesibilitas mudah,
fasilitas yang lengkap, pelayanan yang baik, manajemen yang baik, dan peran
pemerintah. Faktor penghambatnya adalah promosi yang masih terbatas,
keberadaan pesaing, serta keterbatasan dana dan sumber daya manusia.
