description: Research on the extraction of TiO2 from iron sand of Lampung Province has been carried out. This extraction was carried out to produce high purity TiO2, determine the phase formed in the sample and its molarity, and know the morphology of the sample. The method which was used hydrometallurgy, with variations of H2SO4 concentrations i.e 8 M, 10 M, and 12 M and a ratio of iron sand and NaOH i.e 1:4. The results of the XRF analysis shows that the highest level of purity was found in the sampel which used 10 M H2SO4 i.e 16.34%. The results of the XRD analysis shows the formation of five phases, namely rutile (TiO2), ilmenite (FeTiO3), magnetite (Fe3O4), hematite (Fe2O3), and quartz (SiO2) with the highest peak in the rutile phase. The results of SEM analysis shows that the morphology of sample are not uniform.  Keywords : TiO2, H2SO4, XRF, XRD, and SEM.  Telah dilakukan penelitian ekstraksi TiO2 dari pasir besi di Provinsi Lampung. Ekstraksi ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan TiO2 dengan kemurnian tinggi, mengetahui fasa yang terbentuk pada sampel serta molaritas, dan mengetahui bentuk morfologi sampel. Metode yang digunakan yaitu hidrometalurgi, dengan variasi konsentrasi H2SO4 sebesar 8 M, 10 M, dan 12 M serta rasio pasir besi dan NaOH adalah 1:4. Hasil analisis XRF menunjukan tingkat kemurnian tertinggi terdapat pada sampel H2SO4 10 M sebesar 16,34%. Hasil analisis XRD menunjukkan terbentuknya lima fasa yaitu rutil (TiO2), ilmenit (FeTiO3), magnetit (Fe3O4), hematit (Fe2O3), dan kuarsa (SiO2) dengan puncak tertinggi terletak pada fasa rutil. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bentuk morfologi sampel tidak seragam .  Kata kunci : TiO2, H2SO4, XRF, XRD, dan SEM.
