Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis ex post facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu 1997 guru SMP Negeri se-Kota Bandar Lampung, dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih 333 guru sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda, normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, multikolinieritas, dan linieritas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kompetensi profesional guru (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan konsep diri terhadap kompetensi profesional guru (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah, disiplin kerja dan konsep diri terhadap kompetensi profesional guru. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the principal's instructional leadership, work discipline and self-concept partially on the teacher's professional competence, in addition to examining the effect of the principal's instructional leadership, work discipline and self-concept simultaneously on the teacher's professional competence. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of ex post facto. The population in this study were 1997 state junior high school teachers in the city of Bandar Lampung, using the cluster random sampling technique so that 333 teachers were selected as the sample. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis using simple regression analysis and multiple regression, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a positive and significant effect of the principal's instructional leadership on teacher professional competence (2) there is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on teacher professional competence (3) there is a positive and significant effect of self-concept on teacher professional competence ( 4) there is a positive and significant effect of the principal's instructional leadership, work discipline and self-concept on the teacher's professional competence.
