abstract: Maraknya pengaruh asing akibat perkembangan digitalisasi menimbulkan dampak buruk bagi karakter warga negara muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kecerdasan Interpersonal terhadap Civic Disposition Mahasiswa PPKn FKIP Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PPKn FKIP Universitas Lampung angkatan 2019, 2020, 2021, dan 2022. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 78 responden. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yakni menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal mempengaruhi watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) mahasiswa sebesar 51,8%, namun kecerdasan interpersonal tidak sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh mahasiswa, terdapat pengaruh lain yaitu pendidikan di lingkungan keluarga, lingkaran pertemanan, media sosial, dan keadaan ekonomi. Indikator pada variabel independen (X) yaitu : kepekaan sosial, pemahaman sosial, dan komunikasi sosial. Kemudian dalam indikator variabel dependen (Y) yaitu : karakter privat dan karakter publik. Watak kewarganegaraan mahasiswa berkaitan erat dengan kepekaan sosial, pemahaman sosial, dan komunikasi sosial yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Sikap empati, peduli sosial, memahami situasi dan etika sosial, terampil menghadapi permasalahan, dan terampil berbicara serta mendengar efektif dapat diinternalisasikan dalam diri mahasiswa, sehingga mahasiswa akan lebih memahami nilai dan norma di masyarakat, membentuk watak yang berkepribadian luhur, beretika dan berkeadaban sesuai dengan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa.

The increasing influence of foreign influences due to the development of digitization has had a negative impact on the character of young citizens. This study aims to determine the influence of Interpersonal Intelligence on Civic Disposition of students in the Civic Education Department at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lampung University. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study are students in the Civic Education Department at Lampung University from the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 cohorts. The sample in this study consisted of 78 respondents. Data collection was done using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that interpersonal intelligence influences students' civic disposition by 51.8%. However, students do not possess interpersonal intelligence entirely, as there are other influences such as education in the family environment, social circles, social media, and economic conditions. The indicators in the independent variable (X) are social sensitivity, social understanding, and social communication. The indicators in the dependent variable (Y) are private character and public character. Students' civic disposition is closely related to their social sensitivity, social understanding, and social communication skills. Empathy, social concern, understanding social situations and ethics, problem-solving skills, effective speaking and listening skills can be internalized by students, enabling them to better understand the values and norms of society and develop noble, ethical, and civilized characters in accordance with the noble values of the nation.
