Responden pada penelitian ini  berjumlah 81 orang petani yang terdiri dari 66 petani tanaman pangan dan 15 petani  tanaman tahunan yang dihitung menggunakan metode stratified random sampling.  Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data secara deskriptif dengan pendekatan  kuantitatif menggunakan uji analisis Mann-Whitney dan uji Kendall's Tau. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat keberdayaan rumah  tangga petani tanaman pangan dan tanaman tahunan. Tingkat keberdayaan petani  tanaman pangan terkategori tinggi. Tingkat keberdayaan rumah tangga petani  tananaman tahunan terkategori sedang. Faktor faktor yang berhubungan nyata  dengan keberdayaan rumah tangga petani tanaman pangan diantarannya adalah  tingkat pendidikan formal, luas lahan garapan, pendapatan, dan akses informasi.  Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan nyata dengan keberdayaan rumah tangga petani  tanaman tahunan yaitu luas lahan garapan, pendapatan, kegiatan penyuluhan dan  akses informasi.  Kata kunci : keberdayaan, rumah tangga, tanaman pangan, tanaman tahunan    This study aims to determine the different levels of empowerment of households of  food crop farmers and annual crops and analyze factors related to the level of  empowerment of households of food crop farmers and annual crops. This research  was conducted in Mulyosari Village, Tanjung Sari District, South Lampung  Regency. Data collection in this study was carried out in May-June 2023.  Respondents in this study amounted to 81 farmers consisting of 66 food crop  farmers and 15 annual crop farmers who were calculated using the stratified  random sampling method. This study used descriptive data analysis with a  quantitative approach using the Mann-Whitney analysis test and Kendall's Tau test.  The results showed that there were differences in the level of empowerment of  households of food crop farmers and annual crops. The level of empowerment of  food crop farmers is categorized as high. The level of empowerment of annual  farmer households is categorized as medium. Factors that are significantly related  to the empowerment of food crop farming households include the level of formal  education, cultivated land area, income, and acces to information. Factors that are  significantly related to the empowerment of annual crop farmer households are  cultivated land area, income, extension activities, and acces to information.
