The determining variables Kp, Ki, and Kd of PID control are sought by simulating using Mathlab Simulink software and PID tuning by trial and error method. Furthermore, a hardware instrumentation model was built using an RTD PT100 temperature sensor and Omron CP1H-XA40DTI-D PLC an HMI (Human Machine Interface) display, to prove the performance of the PID control system. The experimental results prove that the PID control can maintain the stability of the temperature in the evaporator at variable values of Kp = 1, Ki = 1, Kd = 1, and obtained the initial production time at the 57th minute, with 84% bioethanol content, this is the best result that has been done in this study.
