abstract: Wisata alam adalah perjalanan rekreasi yang menggali potensi sumber daya
alamnya. Tujuan dari wisata alam adalah memberikan pengunjung kepuasan dan
pengalaman unik yang dimiliki oleh alam itu sendiri. Air Terjun Way Kalam
merupakan salah satu objek wisata alam yang banyak diketahui oleh pengunjung
lokal yaitu masyarakat Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis kondisi destinasi Wisata Alam Air Terjun Way Kalam, menganalisis
penilaian kondisi destinasi Air Terjun Way Kalam berdasarkan pengunjung,
menganalisis persepsi pengunjung terhadap destinasi wisata alam Air Terjun Way
Kalam, dan menganalisis evaluasi destinasi Wisata Alam Air Terjun Way Kalam.
Penelitian dilakukan di lokasi di Objek Wisata Alam Air Terjun Way Kalam
Lampung Selatan pada bulan September 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan
melalui wawancara mendalam dengan panduan kuesioner, observasi lapangan dan
studi dokumentasi terhadap sembilan puluh delapan responden yang merupakan
pengunjung yang datang ke Air Terjun ini dengan menggunakan teknik random
sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa destinasi Wisata Alam Air Terjun
Way Kalam baik, namun terdapat beberapa bagian yang perlu ditinjau dan
dilakukan perbaikan terutama infrastruktur dan juga penambahan fasilitas dan
pelayanan.

Nature tourism is a recreational trip that explores the potential of natural resources.
The aim of natural tourism is to provide visitors with satisfaction and a unique
experience possessed by nature itself. Way Kalam Waterfall is a natural tourist
attraction that is widely known by local visitors, namely the people of Lampung
Province. This research aims to analyze the condition of the Way Kalam Waterfall
Natural Tourism destination, analyze the assessment of the condition of the Way
Kalam Waterfall destination based on visitors, analyze visitors' perceptions of the
Way Kalam Waterfall natural tourism destination, and analyze the evaluation of the
Way Kalam Waterfall Natural Tourism destination. The research was conducted at
the location at the Way Kalam Waterfall Natural Tourism Object, South Lampung in
September 2023. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with
questionnaire guides, field observations and documentation studies of ninety-eight
respondents who were visitors who came to this Waterfall using random sampling
technique. The research results show that the Way Kalam Waterfall natural tourism
destination is good, but there are several parts that need to be reviewed and
improved, especially infrastructure and also additional facilities and services.
