%X Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menganalisis tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam  kegiatan melestarikan hutan mangrove, faktor yang berhubungan dengan partisipasi  masyarakat dalam melestarikan hutan mangrove, mengetahui hubungan partisipasi  terhadap kontribusi pendapatan masyarakat pada pelestarian hutan mangrove, dan  mengetahui tingkat pendapatan Masyarakat pada pelestarian hutan mangrove di Desa  Purworejo Kecamatan Pasir Sakti Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Metode penelitian  yang digunakan adalah metode survey, data yang terkumpul ditabulasi berdasarkan  kategori masing-masing dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dilakukan uji Rank  Spearman. Kesimpulannya adalah faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan partisipasi  masyarakat dalam melestarikan hutan mangrove di Desa Purworejo Kecamatan Pasir  Sakti Kabupaten Lampung Timur adalah tingkat pendidikan non-formal, jenis  pekerjaan, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, lama bertempat tinggal, jarak rumah dengan  lokasi mangrove, peran tokoh masyarakat, peran kelompok tani, dukungan  pemerintah, dan peran non government organization, sedangkan faktor-faktor yang  tidak berhubungan adalah umur dan tingkat pendidikan. Partisipasi memiliki  hubungan nyata kearah positif terhadap kontribusi pendapatan masyarakat pada  pelestarian hutan mangrove di Desa Purworejo Kecamatan Pasir Sakti Kabupaten  Lampung Timur. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam memberikan pendapatan keluarga  pada pelestarian hutan mangrove menyumbang rata-rata pendapatan paling tinggi  sebesar Rp1.284.677,- per bulan. The purpose of the research is to analyze the level of community participation in  activities to conserve mangrove forests, factors related to community participation in  preserving mangrove forests, determine the relationship between participation and the  contribution of community income to mangrove forest conservation, and determine  the level of community income in preserving mangrove forests in Purworejo Village,  District. Pasir Sakti, East Lampung Regency. The research method used was a survey  method, the data collected was tabulated based on each category and analyzed  descriptively and the Spearman Rank test was carried out. The conclusion is that the  factors related to community participation in preserving mangrove forests in  Purworejo Village, Pasir Sakti District, East Lampung Regency are level of nonformal  education, type of work, number of family dependents, length of residence,  distance from house to mangrove location, role of community leaders , the role of  farmer groups, government support, and the role of non-government organizations,  while unrelated factors are age and education level. Participation has a real positive  relationship to the contribution of community income to mangrove forest preservation  in Purworejo Village, Pasir Sakti District, East Lampung Regency. Community  participation in providing family income for mangrove forest conservation  contributed to the highest average income of IDR 1,284,677 per month.
