description:   Jati agung merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang ada di Lampung Selatan.  Pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat dan pembangunan lembaga pendidikan  tinggi ITERA yang dibangun pada tahun 2013, serta infrastruktur transportasi  baru yaitu Jalan Tol menyebabkan perubahan penggunaan lahan di wilayah  tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui luas perubahan  penggunaan lahan yang ada di derah tersebut.  Metode penelitian menggunakan metode overlay data penggunaan lahan  menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Data yang digunakan pada  penelitian ini adalah citra google satelite (google earth). Pengolahan  menggunakan kunci interpretasi citra termasuk pengenalan pola, tekstur, dan  ciri-ciri yang menandai jenis penggunaan lahan.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukan bahwa penggunaan lahan di Jati Agung  mengalami perubahan. Total perubahan penggunaan lahan antara tahun 2013  dan 2022 mencapai 33,15%, sedangkan 66,85% lahan tetap tidak berubah.  Lahan yang mengalami peningkatan luas yang paling besar adalah lahan  pemukiman sebesar 949.4 Ha (3.89%) dan lahan yang mengalami penurunan  yang paling besar adalah lahan perkebunan sebesar 1022.1 Ha (4.19%).     Kata Kunci : Penggunaan Lahan, Sistem, Informasi Geografis (SIG), Digitasi     Jati Agung is one of the districts in South Lampung. The rapid population  growth and the establishment of the ITERA higher education institution in  2013, along with the new transportation infrastructure, namely the Toll Road,  have led to changes in land use in the region. The purpose of this thesis is to  determine the extent of changes in land use in that area.  The research method involves overlaying land use data using Geographic  Information System (GIS). The data utilized for this thesis is satellite imagery  from Google Earth. The processing involves the interpretation of image  features, including pattern recognition, texture, and characteristics that  signify different land use types.  The research results indicate that there have been changes in land use in Jati  Agung. The total change in land use between 2013 and 2022 reached 33.15%,  while 66.85% of the land remained unchanged. The land that experienced the  largest increase in area was residential land at 949.4 hectares (3.89%), and  the land with the greatest decrease was plantation land at 1022.1 hectares  (4.19%).
