%A IVANKA KAYLA ATSILA %T DEVELOPING A MOBILE APPLICATION WITH API INTEGRATION FOR TRANSLITERATING INDONESIAN LANGUAGE TO LAMPUNG SCRIPT %X This study explores the cultural significance of the Lampung script in Indonesia, highlighting its underappreciation due to a lack of understanding among the population, particularly the dominance of the Javanese ethnic group in the Lampung province. Recognizing the potential of technology, the research proposes the development of an Android-based transliteration application for Indonesian- language text into the Lampung script, leveraging an Application Programming Interface (API). The methodology follows the Scrum framework, involving three sprints that encompass tasks such as modeling, designing interface, dataset creation, API integration, and functionality development. The application's functionality, including format conversion and connections with storage, undergoes testing, resulting in a reliable tool for transliteration between Indonesian and Lampung Script. This research contributes to language technology, providing a valuable resource for those seeking to bridge linguistic gaps in Indonesia.
