abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model discovery
learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi pada materi larutan
penyangga. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Weak Experimental
Design dengan desain penelitian yaitu The One-Shot Case Study. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung Tahun
Pelajaran 2022/2023. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive
sampling berdasarkan pertimbangan kemampuan kognitif. Pada penelitian ini
kelas yang dijadikan sampel adalah kelas XI IPA 1. Instrument penelitian yaitu
lembar observasi kolaborasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan desktriptif pada
penelitian ini menggunakan skor dari pengamatan aspek yang dinilai pada
keterampilan kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan kolaborasi
siswa berkategori baik, mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan. Hal
ini menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan
keterampilan kolaborasi siswa pada materi larutan penyangga.
Kata kunci: efektivitas, discovery learning, keterampilan kolaborasi, larutan
penyangga.

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the discovery learning model to
improve collaboration skills in buffer solution material. The method used in this
research is Weak Experimental Design with a research design namely The One-
Shot Case Study. The population in this study were all students of class XI
Science at SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 academic year. Sampling
was carried out using a purposive sampling technique based on considerations of
cognitive ability. In this research, the sample class was class XI Science 1. The
research instrument was a collaborative observation sheet. The descriptive data
analysis technique in this research uses scores from observations of aspects
assessed in collaboration skills. The research results showed that students'
collaboration skills were in the good category, increasing at each meeting. This
shows that the discovery learning model is effective in improving students'
collaboration skills on buffer solution material.
