        abstract = {Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri
terbimbing terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi
penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung sebanyak
461 siswa yang terdistribusi ke dalam empat belas kelas yaitu VII U1 sampai VII
K. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VII I sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas
VII K sebagai kelas kontrol, sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster random
sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group
design. Berdasarkan hasil uji Mann-Whitney U diperoleh bahwa peningkatan
kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran
dengan model inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan kemampuan
pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional,
sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing
berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis
siswa kelas VII MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung.

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model on
students' mathematical concept understanding ability. The population of this study
is all students of grade VII MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung as 461 students are
distributed into fourteen classes namely VII U1 to VII K. The sample of this
research is class VII I as an experimental class and class VII K as a control, the
sample are selected with the cluster random sampling technique. The research
design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the results of
the Mann-Whitney U test, it was obtained that the improved ability to understand
mathematical concepts of students who follow the learning with the inquiry model
is higher than the improvement in the understanding of the mathematics concept
of students that follow conventional learning, so it can be concluded that the
learning model of inquisition has an influence on the ability to comprehend
mathematic concepts for students of grade VII MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung.
