Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis korelasi modal sosial masyarakat dengan manfaat ekonomi dan manfaat ekologi serta kelestarian hutan lindung. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September tahun 2023, dengan responden sebanyak 54 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan alat bantu berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa modal sosial berhubungan erat dengan kegiatan pelestarian hutan. Modal sosial yang kuat dalam masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung upaya pelestarian hutan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan terhadap ketiga unsur modal sosial yang diuji, nilai modal sosial gapoktan Sinar Harapan dan Tresno Wana Jaya masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Modal sosial yang terdapat pada kedua gapoktan adalah kebersamaan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang mendukung kehidupan masyarakat.  Kata kunci: modal sosial, kepercayaan, jaringan sosial, norma, hutan lindung    Social capital is important in efforts to preserve natural resources. Social capital functions as a social glue that allows communities to work together effectively in managing and protecting the natural resources they have. This research aims to describe and analyze the correlation of community social capital with economic and ecological benefits and the sustainability of protected forests. The research was conducted in September 2023, with 54 respondents. Data collection was carried out through interviews with tools in the form of questionnaires. The research results state that social capital is closely related to forest conservation activities. Strong social capital in society has an important role in supporting forest conservation efforts. Based on the calculation results of the three elements of social capital tested, the social capital values of Gapoktan Sinar Harapan and Tresno Wana Jaya are in the high category. The social capital found in both gapoktans is togetherness in managing natural resources that support community life.  Keywords: social capital, trust, social networks, norms, protected forests
