abstract: Partai politik merupakan entitas yang bertujuan untuk mengisi jabatan-jabatan
politik baik di legislatif maupun eksekutif. Partai politik berperan penting dalam
mencari dan mempertahankan kekuasaan guna mewujudkan program-program
yang telah disusun berdasarkan ideologi tertentu. Salah satu cara yang digunakan
oleh partai politik untuk memperoleh dan mempertahankan kekuasaan dalam sistem
demokrasi adalah dengan berpartisipasi dalam pemilihan umum. Partai politik harus
bersaing dalam pemilihan umum untuk mendapatkan suara dari masyarakat dan
memperoleh kursi di parlemen, sehingga dapat eksis dalam sistem politik yang ada..
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap anggota fraksi
Partai NasDem terhadap pengangkatan Herman H.N. sebagai Ketua DPW Provinsi
Lampung. Teori yang digunakan yakni teori komponen sikap menurut Azwar S.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik
pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukkan sikap anggota fraksi yang menerima dan mendukung
segala keputusan DPP Partai NasDem tentang pengangkatan Herman H.N. sebagai
Ketua DPW Partai NasDem Provinsi Lampung. Pengangkatan tersebut bertujuan
untuk meningkatkan elektibilitas Partai NasDem di Provinsi Lampung pada
pemilihan umum 2024.

ABSTRACT
THE ATTITUDE OF NATIONAL DEMOCRAT PARTY FRACTION MEMBERS
TOWARDS THE APPOINTMENT OF HERMAN H.N. AS CHAIRMAN OF THE DPW OF
LAMPUNG PROVINCE

Political parties are entities that aim to fill political positions both in the legislative
and executive branches. Political parties play an important role in seeking and
maintaining power in order to realize programs that have been prepared based on a
certain ideology. One way used by political parties to obtain and maintain power in
a democratic system is by participating in general elections. Political parties must
compete in general elections to get votes from the public and get seats in parliament,
so that they can exist in the existing political system. The purpose of this study is
to determine the attitudes of members of the NasDem Party faction towards the
appointment of Herman H.N. as Chairperson of the Lampung Province DPW. The
theory used is the attitude component theory according to Azwar S. This study uses
a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this
study are interviews and documentation. The results of this study show the attitudes
of faction members who accept and support all decisions of the NasDem Party DPP
regarding the appointment of Herman H.N. as Chairperson of the Lampung
Province NasDem Party DPW. The appointment aims to increase the electability of
the NasDem Party in Lampung Province in the 2024 general election.
