abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan karier, dukungan
orang tua, dan penguasaan soft skill terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMKN
1 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis
penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif
dengan pendekatan expost facto dan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
berjumlah 475 siswa kelas XII di SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran
2023/2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik
probability sampling dengan jenis teknik simple random sampling yang didapatkan
jumlah sampel sebanyak 217 siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung
berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik pengambilan
data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Pengujian
hipotesis secara parsial dilakukan dengan melalui uji t dan pengujian secara
simultan melalui uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh baik
secara parsial atau secara simultan antara bimbingan karier, dukungan orang tua,
dan penguasaan soft skill terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMKN 1 Bandar
Lampung.

This study aims to determine the effect of career guidance, parental support, and
soft skills mastery on the work readiness of class XII students at SMKN 1 Bandar
Lampung in the academic year 2023/2024. This research uses a quantitative
research design with descriptive and verification methods employing an ex-post
facto and survey approach. The population in this study consisted of 475 of class
XII students at SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2023/2024. The
sampling technique used in this study employed probability sampling with a type
of simple random sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 217 of class XII
students at SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung based on calculations using the Slovin
formula. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires,
documentation, and interviews. Hypothesis testing was conducted partially using
the t-test and simultaneously using the F-test. The results of the study indicate that
there is an influence, either partially or simultaneously, between career guidance,
parental support, and soft skills mastery on the work readiness of class XII students
at SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung.
