%A FEBRIYANTI SANTI %T PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GOOGLE CLASSROOM TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARANGEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 2 KOTAAGUNG %X Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penggunaan media Google Classroom terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Geografi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Kotaagung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah quasi eksprimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa yang belajar Geografi kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Kotaagung berjumlah 218 siswa. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas X IPS 2 (kelas eksprimen) berjumlah 30 siswa dan X kelas IPS 3 (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 28 siswa. Jadi, sampel pada penelitian berjumlah 58 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji Paired Sample T-Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat adanya pengaruh dengan diterapkannya pembelajaran menggunakan media Google Classroom. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan hasil belajar siswa yang didapat antara kelas eksperimen lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol setelah diberikan perlakuan, yaitu 79,032 > 56,787. Dari hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test nilai menunjukkan selisih antara rata-rata hasil belajar pre-test dengan post-test yaitu 67,43 < 79,07. (2) Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media Google Classroom lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan media Google Classroom. Dapat dilihat pada analisis data bahwa penggunaan media Google Classroom memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Kotaagung yang terbukti dari nilai thitung > ttabel (-17.510 > 2,462) dengan nilai signifikansi dari (0,000 < 0,025) yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil Effect-size dari hasil Cohens? d sebesar 1,855 dikategrikan sangat tinggi. Kata Kunci: Google Classroom, Hasil Belajar, Media Pembelajaran. ABSTRACT This research aims to know the influence of the use of Google Classroom media to learning outcomes in Geography subject to X grade students in SMA N 2 Kotaagung. The research approach was using quantitative approach. The method of this research was quasi experiment with non equivalent control group design as the research design. The population of this research were all of the X grade students who learn Geography subject in students in SMA N 2 Kotaagung with the total 218 students. The sample of the research were X grade students IPS 2 (Experimintal Class) with the number of students were 30 students and X grade students IPS 3 (Control Class) with the number of students were 28 students. So, the sample of this research were 58 students. The data collecting techniques were using test, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis techniques were using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test with Paired Sample T- Test. The result of the research showed that (1) There is the influence of the use of learning by using Google Classroom media. It can be seen from students' learning results in Experimental Class were higher than students'in Control Class after given treatment, that is 79,032 > 56,787. The result of Paired Sample T-Test shows the difference between the average of learning outcomes in pre-test and post-test that is 67,43 < 79,07. (2) The comparison of students' learning outcomes of using Google Classroom media is higher than students' learning outcomes without using Google Classroom media. It can be seen from data analysis that the use of Google Classroom media has significant impact to students'learning outcomes in Geography subject X grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Kotaagung that is proven by tcount value > ttabel (-17.510 > 2,462) with significant value from (0,000 > 0,025) it means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The Effect- size of Cohens' d of 1.855 was very high.
