        abstract = {Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta
didik kelas III SD 3 Metro Pusat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap kemampuan berpikir
kritis peserta didik kelas III SD 3 Metro Pusat. Metode dalam penelitian ini
menggunakan metode quasi experimental design yang melibatkan kelompok
eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan
rancangan eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik
kelas IIIA dan IIIB SD 3 Metro Pusat ang berjumlah 49 peserta didik.
Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan sampel 49 orang
peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi.
Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta
didik kelas III SD 3 Metro Pusat Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024.

The problem in this research was the low critical thinking skills of class III students at SD
3 Metro Pusat. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the jigsaw type
cooperative learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class III students at SD 3
Metro Pusat. The method in this research uses a quasi experimental design method
involving an experimental group and a control group with a quantitative research type with
an experimental design. The population in this study were all students in classes IIIA and
IIIB at SD 3 Metro Pusat 49 students. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique with
a sample of 49 students. Data collection techniques use tests and observations. Data were
analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results of this research show that there
is a significant influence on the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model
on the critical thinking abilities of class III students at SD 3 Metro Pusat for the
2023/2024.
