abstract: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya minat alumni FKIP Universitas
Lampung untuk melanjutkan studi S2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh perencanaan karier, status sosial ekonomi keluarga, dan temn sebaya
terhadap minat melanjutkan studi S2. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah
penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif verifikatif yang
menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS FKIP Universitas Lampung angkatan
2020 berjumlah 292 mahasiswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
berjumlah 169 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability
sampling dengan menggunakan random sampling. Pengumpulan data
menggunakan angket atau kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan uji t dan F
serta diolah dengan program SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan
terdapat pengaruh secara simultan perencanaan karier, status sosial ekonomi
keluarga, dan teman sebaya terhadap minat melanjutkan studi S2 sebesar 0,417
atau 41,7% dan sisanya 58,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Ekonomi Keluarga, Teman Sebaya.This research is motivated by the low interest of alumni FKIP University
of Lampung to continue the study of S2. This study aims to determine the
effect of career planning, family socioeconomic status, and peers on the
development of S2 studies. The type of research used is quantitative
research using descriptive verification methods that use ex post facto and
survey methods. The population in this study was students of the Social
Studies Department of FKIP University of Lampung class of 2020 totaling
292 students. The sample used in this study amounted to 169 students with
a sampling technique of nonprobability sampling using random sampling.
Data collection using questionnaires or questionnaires. Hypothesis testing
conducted t and F tests and processed with SPSS vesi 25 program. The
results of this study showed that there was a simultaneous influence of
career planning, family socioeconomic status, and peers on the interest in
continuing S2 studies by 0.417 or 41.7% and the remaining 58.3% were
influenced by other factors.
