Hasil simulasi kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil eksprimen Widanarto (2011). Simulasi pada penelitian ini dijalankan menggunakan MATLAB dengan Persamaan Differensal Biasa Orde Satu Terkopel didasarkan pada lima persamaan reaksi yang digunakan. Dari penelitia ini, diketahui bahwa O merupakan cakupan yang mendominasi dipermukaan ZnO, dan diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai setiap parameter tidak saling bergantung dan mempengaruhi satu sama lain ketika dilakukan optimasi. Simulasi ini menghasilkan grafik perubahan fungsi kerja terhadap waktu kurang sesuai dengan hasil eksperimen yang didapatkan Widanarto seiring dengan waktu berjalannya simulasi ini. Kata kunci: Gas NO2, Fungsi Kerja, Material ZnO ii ABSTRACT SIMULATION OF NO2 GAS DETECTION REACTION MECHANISM IN ZnO MATERIAL BASED ON WORK FUNCTION By DIAH PURWARINI Research has been carried out which aims to determine the form of computational simulation of NO2 gas detection on ZnO sensors based on changes in work function (Δφ). The simulation results were then compared with the experimental results of Widanarto (2011). The simulations in this research were run using MATLAB with Coupled First Order Ordinary Differential Equations based on the five reaction equations used. From this research, it is known that O is the coverage that dominates the surface of ZnO, and the results obtained are that the values of each parameter are independent and influence each other when optimization is carried out. This simulation produces a graph of changes in the work function over time that is less in line with the experimental results obtained by Widanarto as the simulation progresses.
