N2  - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan menggunakan ring
modifikasi terhadap hasil shooting jump shoot bola basket pada siswa kelas VII
SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan cara pengambilan data menggunakan tes
shooting jump shoot bola basket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas
VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik analisis data
menggunakan uji t (beda). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Ada pengaruh
yang signifikan latihan menggunakan ring modifikasi untuk meningkatkan hasil
shooting jump shoot siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung, dengan
nilai t hitung = 9,198 > t tabel = 2,145. 2) Tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan
menggunakan ring standar untuk meningkatkan hasil shooting jump shoot siswa
kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung, dengan nilai t hitung = 1,871 < t tabel =
2,145. 3). Latihan shooting jump shoot menggunakan rimg modifikasi
memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik daripada latihan shooting jump shoot
menggunakan ring standar untuk meningkatkan hasil shooting jump shoot siswa
kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung dengan nilai t hitung = 3,596 > t tabel =
2,048.

This study aims to determine the effect of training using a modified ring on the
results of basketball jump shooting in class VII students at Imanuel Middle

School, Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is comparative-
descriptive by collecting data using the basketball jump shoot shooting test. The

sample in this research was 30 class VII students at Imanuel Middle School in
Bandar Lampung. The data analysis technique uses the t test (difference). The
results of the research show that 1) there is a significant effect of training using a
modified ring to improve the jump shoot shooting results of class VII students at
Imanuel Middle School in Bandar Lampung, with a value of t = 9.198 > t table =
2.145. 2) There is no significant effect of training using a standard ring to
improve the jump shoot shooting results of class VII students at Imanuel Middle
School in Bandar Lampung, with a calculated t value of 1.871 < t table = 2.145.
Jump shoot shooting practice using a modified rim has a better effect than jump
shoot shooting practice using a standard ring to improve the jump shoot shooting
results of class VII students at SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung, with a value of t =
3.596 > t table = 2.048.
