N2  - Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu tingkat konsentrasi belajar bahasa Indonesia
pada peserta didik kelas V SDN 5 Metro Barat belum maksimal. Tujuan penelitian
ini yaitu menganalisis penerapan ice breaking untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi
belajar bahasa Indonesia pada peserta didik kelas V SDN 5 Metro Barat. Data
dianalisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan software nvivo. Sumber data dalam
penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik kelas V SDN 5
Metro Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi,
wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa
penerapan ice breaking jenis tepuk tangan, lagu, dan games pada peserta didik
kelas V SDN 5 Metro Barat sudah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi
belajar muatan bahasa Indonesia. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari tercapainya tiga
indikator konsentrasi belajar yaitu peserta didik sudah mampu menunjukan
perhatian terhadap setiap materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh pendidik,
peserta didik sudah mampu berpartisipasi aktif selama proses pembelajaran
dengan bertanya dan memberikan pendapat, serta peserta didik sudah mampu
menganalisis dan menerapkan pemahaman yang mereka miliki dengan tepat.

The The problem in this study is that the level of concentration of learning
Indonesian in grade V students of SDN 5 Metro Barat is not optimal. The purpose
of this research is to analyze the application of ice breaking to increase the
concentration of learning Indonesian in grade V students of SDN 5 Metro Barat.
The data was analyzed descriptively qualitative using nvivo software. The data
sources in this study were the principal, educators, and fifth grade students of
SDN 5 Metro Barat. Data collection techniques in this study were observation,
interviews, and documentation. The results of the research conducted show that
the application of ice breaking types of clapping, songs, and games to fifth grade
students of SDN 5 Metro Barat has been carried out to increase the concentration
of learning Indonesian content. This can be seen from the achievement of three
indicators of learning concentration, namely students have been able to show
attention to each subject matter delivered by the educator, students have been able
to actively participate during the learning process by asking questions and giving
opinions, and students have been able to analyze and apply the understanding they
have appropriately.
