TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK

KELAS V SD PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA
%X Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta
didik kelas V SD pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbasis STEM terhadap
kemampuan berpikir kritis. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah
quasi experimental dalam bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Populasi
penelitian berjumlah 50 peserta didik dan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik
convenience sampling dengan 25 peserta didik dari kelas V A sebagai kelas
eksperimen dan 25 peserta didik dari kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh dan perbedaan yang positif dan
signifikan dari model Problem Based Learning berbasis STEM terhadap
kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V SD pada pembelajaran IPA.

The problem in this research is the low critical thinking ability of fifth grade
elementary school students in science learning. This research aims to analyze the
influence of the Problem Based Learning-STEM model on critical thinking ability.

The method used in this research is quasi-experimental in the form of a non-
equivalent control group design. The population of the research was 50 students

and the sample was determined using a convenience sampling technique with 25
students from class V A as the experimental class and 25 students from class V B
as the control class. Data collection techniques include interviews, tests,
observations, and documentation. The results of this research show that there are
positive and significant influences and differences from the Problem Based
Learning-STEM model on the critical thinking abilities of fifth grade elementary
school students in science learning.
