ANDRIANSAH, - subject: 610 Ilmu kedokteran, ilmu pengobatan dan ilmu kesehatan description: Latar Belakang: Kadar kolesterol total merupakan salah penyebab kematian tertinggi didunia yang prevalensinya meningkat setiap tahunnya. Kadar kolesterol total ditandai dengan konsumsi lemak dan peningkatan kadar kolesterol didalam darah, peningkatan ini disebut hiperkolesterolemia. Daun jati cina memiliki berbagai kandungan yang berpotensi sebagai antikolesterol, antioksidan, memiliki efek laktasif, serta antidiabetes. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teh daun jati cina (cassia angustiofoia vahl) terhadap kadar kolesterol total pada mencit (mus musculus) jantan galur ddy yang diinduksi diet tinggi lemak. Metode: Penelitian eksperimental dengan post-test control group design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 25 ekor mencit dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok yaitu, KN (pakan standar + air), K- (kuning telur 0,1ml), P1 (kuning telur 0,1ml + teh daun jati cina dosis 0,06 g/kgBB), P2 (kuning telur 0,1ml + teh daun jati cina dosis 0,13 g/kgBB), dan P3 (kuning telur 0,1ml + teh daun jati cina dosis 0,19 g/kgBB). Kadar kolesterol total dinilai dengan Easy Touch (GCU). Hasil: Rerata kadar kolesterol total setiap kelompok adalah KN = 103,4mg/dL, K- = 165,2 mg/dL, P1= 113,8 mg/dL, P2= 109 mg/dL dan P3= 104,2 mg/dL. Uji One Way ANOVA didapatkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05). Simpulan: Terdapat penurunan kadar kolesterol terbesar dibandingkan kelompok negatif pada mencit galur ddy setelah diberi perlakuan. Terdapat pengaruh pemberian teh daun jati cina (cassia angustifoia vahl) terhadap kadar kolesterol total mencit (mus musculus) jantan galur ddy yang induksi diet tinggi lemak. Didapatkan dosis efektif (ED50) yaitu 7042,25g/kgbb untuk teh daun jati cina (Cassia Angustifolia Vahl) terhadap kadar kolesterol total pada mencit (Mus musculus) jantan galur ddy yang diinduksi diet tinggi lemak. ANDRIANSAH Background: Total cholesterol levels are one of the highest causes of death in the world, with prevalence increasing every year. Total cholesterol levels are characterized by fat consumption and increased cholesterol levels in the blood, this increase is called hypercholesterolemia. Chinese teak leaves have various contents that have the potential as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, have a lactasive effect, and antidiabetic. This study was conducted to determine the effect of Chinese teak leaf tea (cassia angustiofoia vahl) on total cholesterol levels in male ddy mice (mus musculus) induced by a high-fat diet. Methods: Experimental research with post-test control group design. The research sample was 25 mice divided into 5 groups, namely, KN (standard feed + water), K- (egg yolk 0,1 ml), P1 (egg yolk 0,1ml + Chinese teak leaf tea dose 0,06g/kgBB), P2 (egg yolk + Chinese teak leaf tea dose 0,13g/kgBB), and P3 (egg yolk 0,1ml + Chinese teak leaf tea dose 0,19g/kgBB). Total cholesterol levels were assessed with Easy Touch (GCU). Results: The mean total cholesterol levels of each group were KN = 103,4 mg/dL, K- = 165,2 mg/dL, P1 = 113,8 mg/dL, P2 = 109 mg/dL and P3 = 104.2 mg/dL. One Way ANOVA test obtained p=0.000 (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is a decrease in cholesterol levels compared to the negative group in ddy mice after being treated. There is an effect of giving Chinese teak leaf tea (cassia angustifoia vahl) on total cholesterol levels in male ddy mice (mus musculus) induced by a high-fat diet. The effective dose (ED50) was obtained, namely 7042.25g/kgbb for Chinese teak leaf tea (cassia angustifolia vahl) on total cholesterol levels in male mice (mus musculus) ddy strains induced by a high-fat diet.
